De las aguas de la Bahía de San Francisco a las aulas de "La Esperanza"
Gracias a Adriana Usaga, a Gerard Noorthoek y a todos los que los apoyaron económicamente. Recibimos la suma de $1.000 para donar al Centro Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza en Bucaramanga. Uniremos este dinero a los $160 que hemos recibido de otros donantes aquí en Davis para contribuir con el funcionamiento de este Centro de atención a párbulos y preescolares que no tienen recursos económicos para acceder a la educación básica.
Adriana participó por tercera vez consecutiva en el Annual Treasure Island to YMCA Bay Bridge Open Water Swim. Ella recibió el apoyo de 25 personas que reunieron entre todos $500. Gerard giró esos fondos a UEPAGE Foundation, y la Fundación de los empleados de la empresa para la que trabaja igualó la cantidad y nos donó otros $500. Tres personas en Davis nos donaron $160 para esta causa y es así como reunimos $1.160, que estaremos enviando con una persona de confianza que entregue esos dineros directamente al Centro en Bucaramanga. GRACIAS A TODOS!!!

From the Waters of the San Francisco Bay to the Classrooms of "La Esperanza"
Thanks to Adriana Usaga, Gerard Noorthoek, and all those who supported them economically. UEPAGE Foundation received the sum of $1,000 to donate to the Centro Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza in Bucaramanga. We will send this money along with the $160 we received from other donors here in Davis to help run this Center for infants and pre-school children who do not have the economic resources to have access to a basic education.
Adriana participated for the third consecutive time in the Annual Treasure Island to YMCA Bay Bridge Open Water Swim. She had 25 sponsors who contributed $500. Gerard sent UEPAGE Foundation a check in that amount, and the Employee Foundation of the company where he works matched those funds and donated another $500. Three supporters in Davis had also donated $160 for this cause; this is how we were able to put together the $1,160, which we will be delivering in person to the Center in Bucaramanga. THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!
